Couronne Custom Furniture, LLC was born as the second generation of a company dedicated to the manufacture of solid wood custom furniture, with over twenty years of experience in the business.
In 1986, DVM Luis Antonio Corona Gallegos, age 29, leased an abandoned lot and founded a small carpentry that is known today as Couronne Custom Furniture, LLC.

In its beginning Couronne hired about twenty employees, and only counted with basic tools and "home-made" machinery to manufacture its furniture. The company started selling products such as cabinetry, doors, clossets, dining sets, and bedroom furniture to clients in the local area.

In 1990, Couronne Custom Furniture leased and moved to its third and current location. What used to be a pig farm would then become home of the most important private source of employment in town for many years. Such premises would be purchased by Mr. Corona in 1993.

Couronne Custom Furniture, LLC is constantly contributing to the socioeconomic growth of its hometown by hiring local employees, training young people and providing them with a new profession, providing school materials to employees' children with outstanding grades, collaborating with neighbors and local authorities to improve their neighborhood, as well as encouraging entrepreneurship by supporting employees who aspire to become independent and start their own carpentry shop.

In 1998, Couronne Custom Furniture participated in AMFAR trade show in Mexico City and continued to do so until 2004. This would be Couronne's first trade show and would mark the beginning of a new stage in the company's history. After a second trade show later that year in Guadalajara, not only did Couronne begin to expand its market to other states of Mexico, but also completed its first export to Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

In the year 2000, the company attended a trade show in Monterrey, and displayed its first line of outdoors furniture. This line allowed the company to position itself in cities like Acapulco, Oaxaca, Leon, and Cancun.

After receiving a loan from the state government in 2002, Mr. Corona acquired a land lot adjacent to the existing premises as well as machinery that would allow the company to build outdoors furniture in greater quantities. At that time, most of the company's production was being exported to Italy.

Couronne's first international trade show took place in Madrid, Spain in the year 2002. A year later, the company returned to Madrid and participated in Valencia as well. Finally, in 2006, Couronne Custom Furniture attended a show in Dubai.

Nowadays, in addition to the United States of America, Couronne's furniture can be found in virtually every tourist destination in Mexico, as well as different countries in the American and European continents.
